The small delegation of Kennesaw State University students will make their way back home Friday morning (in a few hours roughly) and they will be welcomed back with great fanfare.
Whether this trip we have eagerly been a part of will turn out to be a once in a life time experience or something that some of us students make a habit of, it will occupy a special place in our hearts. There are a lot of first time experiences for college students but this one has certainly been a special privledge, for any college student.
Another group from KSU will soon head off for the Democrat's convention, hopefully they will learn from our trip and our blogs/features/news/videos/etc. and do a great job representing our university.
On behalf of my fellow KSU COMM students and KSU's Political Science students I would like to thank Sue Everhart, the Georgia Delegation, our professors Dr. Kerwin Swint and Dr. Carolyn Carlson and everyone who made us feel welcome Tampa. Also special thanks to Senator Barry Loudermilk and Congressman Tom Graves who gave us their time and took part in the final video interview of the night to wrap up this RNC2012 trip.
