Final Day

Today was the final day of the convention, and the students who hadn't yet experienced some of the speeches were really excited to see the festivities tonight. Those of us that went Tuesday and Wednesday pretty much just worked on tying up any loose ends with our stories, and I felt really accomplished knowing I was done with everything.

This week has been a great learning experience, as a Democrat reporting on a Republican convention, most people thought I wouldn't have enjoyed my time here, but I have. I've met some amazing people and covered some good events throughout the week, and I'll remember all I've learned in the years to come.
